Tour Policies:
Early Booking: A $250 discount is offered off the first 10 seats booked and $100 off the next 10 until March 1, 2019
Deposit and Payment: A $400 deposit per person is required within 72 hours of booking or booking may be cancelled. Full payment is required by March 29, 2019.
Airfare:  Airfare has been included at our preferred group rate. For airfare, space should be reserved by March 1. After that date tour price with air may be significantly higher. Should you wish to book your own flights, price will be reduced by $850. 
Price Changes: In the event of significant changes in taxes or surcharges by suppliers or local government Mile Zero Tours reserves the right to increase price up until the time of departure.  
Cancellation policy:  Full refund less $50 per person admin fee if cancelled before March 1, 2019, from March 1-March 29, 2019 non-refundable amount increases to $150.  After March 29, 2019 only 40% is refundable and after May 1, 2019 only 15% is refundable.  There are no refunds offered after May 18, 2019.  We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance as Mile Zero Tours can not issue refunds, no matter the reason, beyond the scope of the above-mentioned policy.

​Day 1 – Saturday June 1, 2019 - Victoria to Wolfville
Leave Victoria early this morning and fly to the East Coast. Arrive in Nova Scotia this evening and transfer to the Annapolis Valley our home for the next two nights.

Day 2 – Sunday June 2, 2019 – Wolfville, Lunenburg and Mahone Bay
This morning we visit Grand Pre National historic site, the backdrop to the deportation of the acadians in 1755 where you will see an iconic monument Evangeline, heroine of an epic Longfellow poem. This afternoon we continue on to picturesque Mahone Bay and the seafaring home port of the Bluenose – Lunenburg. Return to Wolfville for a free evening.

Day 3 – Monday June 3, 2019 – Wolfville to Baddeck  
This morning leave Annapolis Valley behind and travel across the mainland of Nova Scotia. Stop for lunch in the town of Pictou, the historic gateway to new Scotland. Learn about the famous ship Hector that carried the first wave of Scots to Nova Scotia way back in 1773. This afternoon continue our travels and cross the Canso Causeway to beautiful Cape Breton Island. Arrive in the town of Bedeck and check in to the historic Inveraray Inn on the shores of the Bras D’or Lakes.

Day 4– Tuesday June 4, 2019 – Cabot Trail
Today experience the beauty and unique culture of Cape Breton as we travel the Cabot Trail. This world famous scenic drive circles the upper peninsula of Cape Breton Island crossing hills and mountains providing countless panoramic views of the ever present ocean below. Learn about the Gaelic heritage and culture brought to the island by waves of Scottish settlers as you travel through areas such as St. Anne. Be on the lookout for moose and whales on the winding road across the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and through countless picturesque communities. We will stop for a picnic lunch in the heart of the national park. Later visit the Acadian community of Cheticamp with its beautiful church constructed in 1893. There will also even be a short stop for Nova Scotia souvenirs this afternoon before following the Margaree River Valley back to Baddeck.

Day 5 – Wednesday June 5, 2019 - Baddeck to Charlottetown, PEI
This morning depart Inverary Resort. Stop at the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and learn more about the famous inventor who could find no better place on earth than Cape Breton. We will stop for lunch on the mainland of Nova Scotia before arriving at the ferry terminal. After a 75 minute ferry ride, we arrive on small and beautiful Prince Edward Island, and continue on to the capital city of Charlottetown. This evening enjoy a great meal in a local restaurant.

Day 6 – Thursday June 6, 2019 - Charlottetown
Today look forward to experiencing the charm of Canada’s smallest province as we travel across the rolling countryside dotted with picturesque delightful villages and endless acres of farmland rolling down to the deep blue Gulf of St Lawrence. Arrive in Cavendish this morning for a self-guided visit at the Green Gables House. Next, a short ride brings us through the gates of the Prince Edward Island National Park and into a landscape of sandy beaches, rolling sand dunes and stunning red cliffs. Take in a little local culture and colour with a stop at the Rustico village wharf before arriving at the PEI Preserve Company for the opportunity to taste some local goods. This afternoon, a short drive will bring us back to Charlottetown where you may choose to explore the town your way.

Day 7 – Friday June 7, 2019 - Charlottetown to Moncton
This morning we depart Charlottetown and cross the impressive and stately 13 km Confederation Bridge. We journey on to New Brunswick and arrive at the wharfs of Shediac, lobster capital of the world. Board a boat on the calm waters of Shediac Bay for a once in a lifetime experience where you will learn to catch, cook, clean and eat lobster the Acadian way. Continue to downtown Moncton, New Brunswick for a evening of your choice.

Day 8 – Saturday June 8, 2019 – Moncton to Halifax
Following breakfast this morning head to the Bay of Fundy, famously home to the World’s highest tides. Enjoy a guided tour at the Hopewell Rocks and the opportunity to walk on the ocean floor between the four-story tall Flower Pot Rocks. Next, stop at Fort Beausejour and admire the scenic views of the Tantramar Marsh while exploring the remains of this once important location in the epic struggle between Britain and France for control of the “New World”. This afternoon continue on to the town of Truro and learn about the vibrant first nation’s culture of the Mi’kmaq people during a guided visit to the Millbrook Cultural & Heritage Centre. Arrive later this afternoon in Halifax, Nova Scotia’s capital city where the evening is yours to enjoy.

Day 9 – Sunday June 9, 2019 – Halifax
This morning embark on a guided city tour with a local historian. Learn about the Nova Scotia capital’s 250 plus years of history through tragedy and prosperity. After stops at the Public Gardens and Citadel Hill your tour concludes down on the historic waterfront. This afternoon depart for a drive out to the rugged Atlantic Coast passing by glacial scattered boulders and tiny fishing villages pounded by the relentless sea. Stop at beautiful Peggy’s Cove, with its iconic lighthouse, said to be the most photographed in the world. Afterwards
gather with your new friends and tour director for a farewell dinner.

Day 10 – Monday June 10, 2019 - Halifax to Victoria

Bid farewell to Nova Scotia this morning as we transfer to Halifax Airport for our return flight to Victoria. Upon arrival in Victoria a transfer will be available back home. Arrive home mid-afternoon with a slew of new memories of the Magic of the Maritimes.
